Started drawing as a child using
walls as my canvas, crayons as my pallet
and parents as my critics. Ah yes, such small beginnings.
Always interested in the slightly offbeat, strange or even just a
little bizarre, but curious none the less. Been a huge fan of ground
crumbling, air shredding, dimension warping, blazing loud guitar
metal. It inspires me, keeps my imagination running at full
throttle. I have always enjoyed a good comic with awesome art and
well written story lines. DC and Marvel along with Mad and Cracked
Magazine were my inspirations. Currently impressed with Crossgen's
Sigil series.
Strongly opinionated, hard headed, stubborn and yet totally loveable
and
gentle. I live happily with my lovely, organized wife and two
creative,
rocket fueled sons.
Increasingly enjoying praise and worship to the King of Kings and
the Lord of Lords. I owe everything to Him. He has helped me to see
things in a whole new light. I always had a feeling that there was
something bigger, something wild, something more than we could ever
imagine.
I have had jobs doing everything from trucking to graphic design to
cab driving to construction to manufacturing, etc.
In my local church I have done everything from puppetry, drama,
teaching (toddlers to grade 5), praise and worship, publishing and
audio media. The part I most enjoyed was being able to assist the
praise and worship by playing guitar.
I thank my Heavenly Father for the abilities that He's given me and
the
opportunities to use them.
The one thing I want to see happen this year is Ekklesia to make it
to print, to have a huge distribution and to minister to millions
(dream big, man, dream big). This comic has been in the works for
the last 10 years at least. By "in the works" I mean I
have drawn and redrawn this episode until it has taken on the
current look. Originally it was a lot worse (oh yeah, I mean real
bad, and no I will not let anyone see it).
