MARK MELTON

Mark Melton has been drawing since he can remember. His love for comic books is just as great.  In 1996, his senior year of high school, he created the script to "The Island of Conformity" as an English project. He felt it would make a great comic book and then spent the next three years painting the comic book in water color.  By 1999 he had started his own independent comic company called "Vision Land Comics".  Funding was low and he could not afford to print "The Island of Conformity" in full color but was determined to see it go to print. 1000 copies were made in black and white that are available for purchase right here at Megazeen, and by snailmail at  visionlandcomics.com.  You can find Mark's work in the pages of "Chronicles" from Quest Comics, and in his upcoming project "AngelDreams". Not only does he draw but he's a talented colorist as well.  Many of the covers of Chronicles have been colored by Mark under his alias: GLOW. Mark is working on an ongoing saga "6th Seal of Revelation" with writer John Finlay (a strong artist in his own right) which appeared in Megazeen #3-5, and Azalea which apeared in Megaunity Red and Megazeen 7. He thanks the Lord daily for allowing his dream, to create and draw comic books, to come true.

Mark is now on staff with Megazeen as well.  We're blessed to have such a stout hearted, talented guy on board!
